ARMOR Radar Specifications

In 2005 the radar transmitter was upgraded to a Baron Services VHDD-350C" 350 kW solid state transmitter. In Fall 2006, a high performance Seavey
dual-polarization antenna and Orbit pedestal were purchased for ARMOR
from Baron Services. Antenna/Pedestal hardware were fully functional by
the end of October, 2006. For all intensive purposes, ARMOR is now a
completely new dual-polarimetric system.
